club news, information concerning art contests,details of the club trip, and other
pertinent items.
Membership in the art club is attained by entering either the PTA Reflections contest or another art-related contest (See Mr. Yanashot or Ms. Temples for a list of contests) with a visual arts piece done in any medium. The theme for this year's PTA Reflections contest is "WOW!". If you need any materials, feel free to see Mr. Yanashot in the 3D Design room or Ms. Temples in the Draw/Paint room.
Club NewsKeystone Workshops!
This year, once again we will be participating in the Keystone College art workshops. Courses are being offered in Figure Drawing, Ceramics, Painting, Graphic Design, and Photography through the month of April. Watch for details as the year progresses.
Contests!
There are several other art contests in progress if you're interested. Most have cash awards and all of them have the potential for a nice addition to your resume. Please see me for any details and submission dates.
Spring Trip!!
The art club trip datewill be announced as soon as I have secured it. We will most likelybe going to Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, N.J. which is near Philadelphia. We will also be going to another venue during this trip. The pictures of our last trip to Grounds For Sculpture, click HERE and you'll be taken to the picture page.
